Certified Counselors: 25 contact hours
As an organization approved by the National Board of Certified Counselors, Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) is offering this activity for continuing education credit. VCU maintains responsibility for the program.
Nurses: 25 contact hours
VCU School of Nursing and the VCU Health System Department of Education and Professional Development are approved as a provider of continuing education in nursing by the Virginia Nurses Association which is accredited as an approver of continuing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Psychologists: 19.5 CE Credits
This program is approved by the American Psychological Association to offer continuing education for Psychologists. The Center for Psychological Services and Development maintains responsibility for the continuing education program for psychologists. APA requires 100% attendance. No partial credit will be awarded.
Rehabilitation Counselors: 25 hours
The Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) has approved this activity for continuing education credits for 25 clock hours. The CRCC is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies.
Social Workers: 2.5 CEUs (25 contact hours)
VCU School of Social Work awards continuing education credits on the basis of one CEU for each 10 hours of instruction in an approved continuing education activity. Continuing Education activities for which Virginia Commonwealth University awards CEUs meet the standards and criteria of the University and of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. CEUs are not to be equated with college credits.
Other Professionals: 2.5 CEUs (25 contact hours)
